I saw that Narrative, the online literary magazine spotlights a “Word of the Week,” hosted by Carol Edgarian. “Galvanize” is an eponym, named after Luigi Galvani, who first discovered so -called “animal electricity.” I love this quote about imagination by Edward Hirsch: “May this spring season galvanize you to follow your imagination wherever it leads.”
